About the prices. Each fare is cruise.com’s published “from” price per person for that sailing on the date shown. It is not a quote: cabin category, taxes, fees, flights and availability are confirmed on the cruise line’s or agent’s booking page, and opening a deal page here does not check the supplier’s price for you.

Choose by what you need

  • Japan and the Far East: 4 sailings tracked: Tokyo, Yokohama, Shanghai and Hong Kong routes, with the Japan guides we have already published.
  • Southeast Asia: 4 sailings tracked, starting or ending in Singapore or Bali, with our port pages for Thailand and Vietnam.
  • Starting in Singapore: The deals that leave from Singapore, both cruise terminals, the weather by month and who sails from there.
  • Starting in Tokyo or Yokohama: Which of the Tokyo-area cruise terminals your ship may use, and how far each is from the airports and the city.
  • Ending in Hong Kong: Getting off at Kai Tak Cruise Terminal: what the terminal is and how passengers have been moved from it.
  • Weather and typhoon season: When it rains, when typhoons are most likely, and which of our tracked sailings fall in those months.

Port pages for the region

Before you book

  • Check which terminal. Fare listings name a city (“Tokyo”, “Shanghai”), but the ship may use a different terminal or a neighbouring city’s port. See the Tokyo and Yokohama guide.
  • Check the season. Typhoon and rainy-season months differ by country. See the weather guide.
  • Plan the flight. Most Asia sailings need a long-haul flight: Long-Haul Flights After 50: What's Worth Knowing.

Passport and entry rules. Visa and arrival-form rules depend on your passport and on each country the ship visits, and they change. We have not verified them for this section: check your own government’s travel advice and each country’s official immigration site before you book.

Who sails here: the lines in our data are Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, MSC Cruises, Holland America, Norwegian Cruise Line. Royal Caribbean’s Navigator of the Seas is also reported to be based in Singapore through 2027[1], but we do not currently track a fare for it, so it has no card here.
