Singapore cruise port guide
Singapore has two cruise terminals. Your boarding documents name the one you sail from, so check them before you travel. Facts here are taken from the sources listed at the bottom and were last read on 22 October 2026.
Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore
- Address: 61 Marina Coastal Drive, Singapore.[1]
- What sails from here: Disney Adventure is homeported at this terminal[2], and Diamond Princess began its Singapore homeport season here in December 2025[3].
- Size: the terminal was built for very large ships: it can berth vessels up to 360 metres long and up to 220,000 gross tons.[1]
- Getting there: the nearest MRT station is Marina South Pier, the end of the North-South Line, and bus 400 serves the terminal.[1] Sources give different walking distances from the station, so allow time on the day and follow the signs, or ask your cruise line about transfers.
Singapore Cruise Centre (HarbourFront)
- Where: at HarbourFront, connected to HarbourFront MRT station and the VivoCity mall. It also handles regional ferries, for example to Batam in Indonesia.[4]
- New terminal: a new HarbourFront terminal opened in July 2026, and all cruise operations moved there from 15 July 2026.[4]
Best time to sail from Singapore
Singapore sits near the equator, so temperatures change little through the year: the monthly mean is about 26.8 °C in December and January and 28.6 °C in May, the warmest month. What changes is the rain.[5]
- December to early March (Northeast Monsoon): rainfall is higher from November to January, the wet phase. From late January to early March it is windier and relatively dry, and February is the driest month.[5]
- June to September (Southwest Monsoon): afternoon showers and occasional squalls.[5]
- April–May and October–November: the transition months; October and November are wetter than the spring transition.[5]
Our reading, not an official recommendation: if rain is your main worry, late January to March is the driest stretch. In our fare data, the Princess and Celebrity departures from Singapore fall in November to February, and Diamond Princess’s announced Singapore seasons run from December to February (see the table below).
