Ferries from Singapore to Batam, Bintan and Karimun
Which regional ferries leave Singapore for Batam, Bintan and Karimun in Indonesia: operators, journey times as the Singapore Cruise Centre states them, and when we last checked.
Singapore's regional ferries cross to the Indonesian islands of Batam, Bintan and Karimun. Sindo Ferry, Horizon Fast Ferry and several other operators serve the routes, and the Singapore Cruise Centre, which runs the regional ferry terminal, lists the crossing times. Each card gives the figures as the sources state them and says when we last checked.
How it works
The Singapore Cruise Centre's own site describes itself as the International Cruise and Regional Ferry Terminal and says the older HarbourFront Passenger Terminal's last day was 14 July 2026. It does not say which operator uses which terminal, so read the terminal on your ticket. Tanah Merah is a separate terminal from HarbourFront.
The Sindo Ferry timetable is published in Singapore time (GMT+8) and in Indonesian western time, WIB (GMT+7), one hour behind. Check which clock a time is printed in before you plan the connection.
Operators list their schedules as subject to change without notice, and several pages carry booking notices, so confirm on the operator's own page close to travel.
Batam, Bintan and Karimun are in Indonesia. We have not checked the entry rules, so this page does not state any; check the current requirements with the government before you plan around a day trip.
A ticket is not a guaranteed seat and sailings can change with the weather.
Ferries

Operators: Sindo Ferry, Horizon Fast Ferry
Journey time: About 60 minutes to Batam, as the Singapore Cruise Centre lists it. The operator pages themselves do not state a crossing time.
When it runs: Sindo lists HarbourFront to Batam Centre and Sekupang and Tanah Merah to Batam Centre. Horizon lists 13 departures to Harbour Bay between 08:15 and 21:35. Both say times are subject to change.
The Singapore Cruise Centre's ferry-partners page also names BatamFast, Majestic Fast Ferry and others serving Batam.
Journey time: About 70 minutes to Bintan, as the Singapore Cruise Centre lists it; the figure is for the island, not specifically for Tanjung Pinang.

Timetables and journey times change by season and operator, and a ticket is not a guaranteed seat. Every card says when we last checked and links the page we read; confirm on the operator's own page before you plan around a departure. We list operators' own pages and do not earn commission on these links.
