Boats from Krabi and Ao Nang to Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Phuket and Koh Yao Noi

Which boats leave Ao Nang and Krabi for Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta, Phuket and Koh Yao Noi: operators, journey times as the sources state them, season notes, and when we last checked.

Ao Nang, near Krabi town, is the base for boats to Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lanta and Phuket, and Krabi has its own boats to the quieter islands of Koh Yao. Ao Nang Princess runs the longer ferries from the Nopparattara pier, and a van-and-boat combination serves Koh Yao Noi. Each card gives the figures as the source states them and says when we last checked.

Krabi town (hotel pick-up by van) Koh Yao Noi (Manoh Pier)

Operators: Green Planet, Koh Yao Sun Smile, Tigerline Travel

Journey time: The van-and-boat ticket takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours 20 minutes; the boat crossing itself is about 30 minutes.

When it runs: The schedule table lists departures at 08:30, 08:45, 11:00 and 11:30, but the page text also calls it a morning-only service with one departure, so the page contradicts itself; confirm the live schedule.

This is a booking-site page, not an operator's own page. The van collects passengers from hotels around Krabi Town at around 08:45.
