Who this route suits
Best for culture travelers who have done the standard western Med and want the Atlantic side: port wine in Porto, the Belem waterfront at dusk on the Lisbon overnight, Santiago de Compostela from La Coruna. The Lisbon overnight is the route's signature. Less ideal if you want a roundtrip (open-jaw flights are required) or if your idea of a cruise day is the pool deck - there are very few sea days.
