Mykonos has fast links to Athens and to its neighbouring Cyclades islands. SeaJets, Blue Star Ferries, Fast Ferries and Golden Star Ferries serve the routes, and several of the island-to-island crossings run only from spring to autumn. Each card gives the figures as the booking site states them and says when we last checked.

How it works

Ferries

Mykonos Piraeus (Athens)

Operators: SeaJets, Blue Star Ferries

Journey time: The shortest listed trip is 2 hours 35 minutes; the FAQ gives 2 hours 40 minutes.

When it runs: Listed January to December, every day.

This is a booking-site page, not the operator's own page; it says its figures are the shortest listed and can vary by sailing and weather.

Mykonos Santorini

Operators: SeaJets, Hoper

Journey time: About 2 hours 10 minutes on the fastest service (Seajets) and 2 hours 50 minutes on Golden Star Ferries, as the booking site’s route page states; the sailings it listed for 26 October took 2 hours 45 minutes and 2 hours 55 minutes. Its Mykonos overview page gives a much shorter figure that the route page does not support, so we do not use it.

When it runs: Listed March to November, 6 to 7 days a week.

This is a booking-site page, not the operator's own page; it says its figures are the shortest listed and can vary by sailing and weather.
