Ferries from Athens (Piraeus) to the Cyclades, Aegina and Crete

Which ferries leave Piraeus, the port of Athens, for Santorini, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Aegina and Heraklion: operators, journey times as the operators and booking sites state them, and when we last checked.

Piraeus is the port of Athens, and the boats on this page all leave from it: to the Cyclades islands, to Aegina in the Saronic Gulf and across to Heraklion on Crete. On most island routes a fast catamaran and a slower conventional ferry compete, and the same journey can take two to three hours more on one than on the other. Each card gives the figures as the source states them and says when we last checked.
