👀See & do: Old Stavanger’s white wooden houses, the harbor, Cathedral and Petroleum Museum fill 3-4 hours and cost little. For Pulpit Rock, the bus-ferry to Tau plus hike costs about NOK 400-600 each way in transport and takes most of the day. A Lysefjord sightseeing cruise is the gentler alternative at NOK 700-1,000.

👀See & do: Walk the canal and Jugendstil facades, then ascend Aksla: 418 steps from the city park, the tourist train or a taxi. The Atlantic Sea Park aquarium costs about NOK 250. Sunnmore Museum is a short bus ride. Longer day trips to Geiranger by road only make sense with a ship tour.
