Getting ashore
Tenders land at the Old Port, five minutes from the lanes. From Tourlos, the SeaBus costs about €2 each way and takes ten minutes; taxis are scarce. Check which port your ship uses.
What to do in 6-10 hours
Walk Matogianni Street before crowds, then Panagia Paraportiani church, Little Venice and the windmills - a free two-hour loop. Add a beach: Ornos by bus (€2-3) or water taxi; beach beds €30-60 per pair. Delos archaeological boat tours run €50-80 and take four hours.
Walking level
Old Town is mostly flat but paved with slick, uneven stone; lanes include short steps. Windmills sit on a mild rise. Beaches are sandy. The heat and crowds, not distance, make this tiring.
Excursion or independent
Independent for town and beaches. Book Delos ahead, through ship or licensed operator, because ferry timing matters. The full trade-off is in ship excursion or independent.
