Washington State Ferries from Seattle and Edmonds: Bainbridge Island, Bremerton and Kingston
Which Washington State Ferries leave Seattle for Bainbridge Island and Bremerton, and the Edmonds to Kingston crossing: crossing times as the operator states them, the current schedule period, and when we last checked.
Washington State Ferries, the state's own ferry system, runs the passenger and car ferries from Seattle's Colman Dock across Puget Sound to Bainbridge Island and Bremerton. The Edmonds to Kingston crossing leaves from a different terminal. Each card gives the figures as the operator's own schedule page states them and says when we last checked.
How it works
Each schedule page we read is dated: the fall 2026 schedule runs from 20 September to 26 December 2026, and the operator publishes a new schedule for each season, so check the current dates.
The Seattle to Bainbridge Island sailings are operated by the vessels Wenatchee and Puyallup, which the schedule page marks as ADA accessible. We have not checked access at the terminals or on other routes, so this page makes no wider accessibility claim.
Edmonds is a separate terminal from Seattle's Colman Dock. Check which terminal your route uses.
The operator says there may be extra service for special events and offers a tool for busy and quieter travel times.
A ticket is not a guaranteed seat and sailings can change with the weather.

Timetables and journey times change by season and operator, and a ticket is not a guaranteed seat. Every card says when we last checked and links the page we read; confirm on the operator's own page before you plan around a departure. We list operators' own pages and do not earn commission on these links.
